“It’s very complex as usual, and very dynamic,” Demie told Deadline on April 9 of the relationship between Cassie and Maddy. “There’s a lot of fun between the two. A lot of tension and a lot of fun… It is quite a dynamic relationship this season.”
As we know from what both Demie and Sydney Sweeney have shared, season 3 shows the characters five years later, all grown up and struggling to make ends meet in the real world. Cassie takes up a career on OnlyFans, and Maddy is striving to become a talent manager. The two appear to reconnect in an unexpected way, with the trailer hinting they may cross paths professionally.
