Flyysoulja is taking a major step toward recovery.

The Island Boys rapper has checked into rehab months after experiencing a drug-induced psychotic episode.

"I'm going to detox right now to get the help I need. I can't wait. I've been here before, but this time I'm going to take it a lot more serious," he told TMZ.

The rapper described the moment as a turning point, calling it "good news" and a "very powerful moment."

The move comes after a troubling incident last year in Florida, when Flyysoulja was detained under the state's Baker Act, which allows for temporary involuntary mental health evaluations. Authorities at the time said he had taken multiple substances and was experiencing a psychotic episode.

Police reportedly became concerned for his safety after mistaking nail polish on his body for blood, fearing he may harm himself.

Following the incident, Flyysoulja later addressed the situation publicly, making it clear he believed substance use, not mental illness, was the root of the issue.

"I have a substance issue, not a mental problem," he said at the time.

Now, Flyysoulja appears focused on turning things around and emerging stronger from the experience.

Fans have since flooded social media with messages of support, applauding the rapper for seeking help and wishing him well on his recovery journey.
