Becoming sober has changed Fivio Foreign's life for the better.

In late December, the rapper and producer announced that he planned to enter rehab, saying he wanted to “stop making a lot of dumb decisions.”

"I want y'all to support me and I want y'all to [be with] me through this journey," Fivio said in an Instagram reel, adding that his treatment would be $10,000.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday (January 14), the Brooklyn artist gave his followers an update about how his sobriety has led to personal improvement.

"Sobriety help me realize how much time I was wasting on being smacked.. I deadass got mad time on my hands now," Fivio wrote.

Earlier this month, Fivio made several posts about how he's embraced family life in lieu of drug usage and said that sobriety has caused him to experience "psychological withdrawal."

Before going to rehab, the rapper also credited his wife, Jasmine Giselle, with pushing him to better himself. "A good woman will make yu wanna get yah life together.. I never felt like this b4. I think this the 1," Fivio tweeted in December.

During a sit down with DJ Whoo Kid last week, Fivio said that he saw parallels between his drug addiction and Eminem, crediting his "Lace It" collaboration with the late Juice WRLD.

"It's kind of like that same situation with Juice WRLD and Eminem, too, like, my drug addiction," Fivio said around the 11-minute mark below. "And when I'm going through my phrase of trying to stop and change and grow, I listen to that skit."
