Filming on the third and final season of Euphoria has officially wrapped, according to show star Sydney Sweeney.

The actress, who stars in the upcoming thriller-mystery The Housemaid, gave an update on Euphoria S3 on the Monday (December 1) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On HBO's programming schedule, the season will reportedly begin airing in spring 2026.

Around the 3:30 mark of the video below, Sweeney said that filming for Euphoria wrapped in November but hinted, "You never know" about potential for a fourth season.

"It was super bittersweet," she continued. "Because most of the crew
I had worked with since I was twenty, when I did the pilot. So every single time I'd go back, I felt like I was going home and I was getting to see everybody."

"We've been filming since February, so they're a part of your family," Sweeney continued.

Fallon also asked Sweeney to give a "one-word" hint about the third season of Euphoria, recalling Jacob Elordi calling the final season "white fritillaries" when he visited The Tonight Show last month.

"His was good. You guys don't realize how good that word was," Sweeney said, adding that her phrase for the upcoming season is "self-discovery."

In October, HBO announced who would be returning to the Sam Levinson-created drama, naming supporting actors like Dominic Fike and Nika King, while new stars include Danielle Deadwyler, Natasha Lyonne and Eli Roth.

While on Live with Kelly and Mark last month, Sweeney also confirmed that the show's original characters would be older in the final season, calling it "weird" if they were still in high school.

The actress also teased on Good Morning America that the season would be "about God." People are gonna find God, some people are gonna need God," she said.
