Sydney Sweeney says she's still holding out for love after ending her engagement with businessman Jonathan Davino.

Since Sweeney's breakup with Davino earlier this year, the actress has been romantically linked to Scooter Braun, but in a sit-down interview with GQ features director Katherine Stoeffel, Sweeney confirmed that she's single.

The Christy star said she's also uninterested in settling down, although it's possible that the interview was filmed at an earlier point.

"I don't think I'm looking for a man right now. What I've learned this year is that I have a really, really amazing group of girlfriends, and I am strong and independent, and that I'm gonna be OK," Sweeney said around the 8:30 mark of the video below. "If love finds me, love finds me. I'm a hopeless romantic, so I hope love finds me."

The entertainer added that she believes in "true love" and wants to spend her life with someone. Elsewhere in the interview, Sweeney stressed that keeping her personal life to herself is for her "own health and sanity."

"If I let everybody in all the time, I have nothing for myself," she said.

A little over a month after reports surfaced that Sweeney and Braun were dating, TMZ reported over the weekend that the actress was spotted yelling at her ex-fiancé in a car in Los Angeles. They were in a relationship for three years.

Similar to her GQ comments, Sweeney told The Times in a May article that she's "learning a lot" about herself and "spending more time" with friends instead of a romantic interest.
