Euphoria, after four long years away, will make its return to HBO next year. Ahead of the long-teased premiere, HBO is further detailing who fans can expect to see in Sam Levinson’s televisionary universe this time around, including a slew of newcomers.

On Friday, Oct. 17, HBO announced that Danielle Deadwyler of Station Eleven and Till, pictured above, was among the third season’s new cast members. She’s joined by Gideon Adlon, Bill Bodner, Colleen Camp, Homer Gere, Jessica Blair Herman, Natasha Lyonne, Hemky Madera, Kwame Patterson, Trisha Paytas, Rebecca Pidgeon, Bella Podaras, Cailyn Rice, Eli Roth, Madison Thompson, Jack Topalian, Sam Trammell, and Matthew Willig.

Newly confirmed returning cast members include Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, Alanna Ubach, and Sophia Rose Wilson.

While some fans expressed confusion at the absence of Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney in this announcement, among others, fear not. The stars were previously confirmed to be aboard for the HBO hit’s return, with Sweeney, specifically, saying back in May that viewers should expect an “unhinged” new season.

In February, HBO let fans know that the following familiar faces would indeed be back in the mix for the 2026 batch of episodes: Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo.

Among the previously announced newcomers, meanwhile, are Rosalia and Marshawn Lynch. Sharon Stone is also set to appear, saying earlier this year that she was “honored” to join the cast.

“There is little more exciting than going to work with this team of thrilling talent,” the Oscar-nominated Casino actress said in February. “From the genius of Sam Levinson to the raw sophistication of this profoundly moving cast and tight crew, I am honored to be Euphoric.”

Euphoria was renewed for a third season back in 2022. While a firm release date hasn’t yet been announced, HBO is set to launch the drama’s third season next spring.
