Jelly Roll has started to scrub the online connections between him and his estranged wife, Bunnie Xo, as their divorce saga plays out on the public stage.
As TMZ reported, the country-rock star removed Bunnie Xo's Instagram handle, @xomgitsbunnie, from his bio on Tuesday (June 16). His profile now reads only "Music Man." The change to Jelly Roll’s bio came one day after the divorce filing, made on May 18, became public.
Jelly Roll, legal name is Jason Bradley DeFord, filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, legal name Alisa DeFord, in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences. Court documents list the couple's separation date as May 9. Despite updating his Instagram bio, Jelly Roll has not wiped photos of himself and Bunnie Xo from his account.
Bunnie Xo, who’s a podcaster and author, has since posted a lingerie photo to her Instagram Story with the caption, "She's getting her sparkle back." The Stripped Down author further appeared to be unbothered about the news when she posted a video that showed her lip-syncing to Nickelback’s "How You Remind Me.”
Separately, one of Jelly Roll’s last posts was a weight loss update vlog.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo met at his Las Vegas concert in August 2015 and married the following year. The couple shared primary custody of Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann, who’s now 18. Jelly Roll also has a son, 9-year-old Noah, from a previous relationship.
Bailee addressed the speculation about her parents’ pending divorce in a TikTok Story on Tuesday, sharing that she’s “disgusted at how invested everyone is" in a “very clearly private family matter.”
“It's fkn crazy. Go on somewhere yall. Worry bout your house—not mine. I'm not speaking on it—yet,” she wrote.
