Jelly Roll's daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord is “disgusted” with the public's obsession with her family.
As Page Six reports, the 18-year-old, who Jelly Roll shares with his ex-partner, Felicia, posted a TikTok Story on Tuesday (June 16) to address the wave of attention surrounding her father's ongoing divorce from Bunnie Xo.
The teenager shared that she had no interest in fueling speculation about the breakdown of her parents’ marriage.
Jelly Roll, legal name Jason Bradley DeFord, married Bunnie Xo, legal name Alisa DeFord, in 2016. In the same year as their marriage, the country-rock vocalist welcomed a son, Noah, from a previous relationship.
"Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It's fkn crazy," Bailee wrote in her TikTok post. "Go on somewhere yall. Worry bout your house — not mine."
"I'm not speaking on it — yet,” Bailee added. She also disabled comments on the post.
Bailee followed her TikTok Story with another post where she thanked those who have shown her “love and kindness through everything.”
“At the end of the day, no matter what, we are all humans with feelings and that is worthy of compassion,” she continued.
Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo on May 18 Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. The separated couple plan to divide their assets and debts, as outlined in their divorce agreement.
The first public hint of trouble came in early June when the “I Am Not Okay” artist attended the CMA Fest in Nashville without his wedding ring.
Separately, Bunnie Xo has been signaling that she’s unbothered about the news of her pending divorce on social media. On Monday (June 15), the podcaster and author lip-synced to Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" on TikTok and posted a topless photo to her Instagram Stories with the caption, "She's getting her sparkle back."
Bailee has called Bunnie Xo "Mom" on social media for years. Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll, who met in 2015, won primary custody of Bailee when she was 8 years old.
