Bobbi Althoff is circling back to the platform that made her viral. In a TikTok posted April 23, the creator confirmed she’s reviving The Really Good Podcast—a move that comes just days after news broke that she’s joining Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.

According to People, Althoff was direct about why she’s pivoting back. After ending The Really Good Podcast in July 2025, she launched a follow-up series, Not This Again, which she now says didn’t land the way she expected.

“I thought Not This Again would do better, and it didn’t,” she said in the video. “It’s a little embarrassing… but it is what it is. It failed.”

That reset has already translated into action. Althoff said she’s been quietly recording new episodes of The Really Good Podcast, returning to a stripped-down format that originally fueled its success.

“I didn’t used to do anything huge,” she explained, noting that earlier episodes were released without major promotional spend. “At some point, it became this big production… and I wanted to scale it back.”

The podcast’s first run, which began in 2023, helped establish Althoff’s signature style—deadpan interviews that leaned into awkward pauses and unconventional energy.

That approach attracted a wide range of guests, and she confirmed the reboot will continue in that lane, with names like Sexyy Red, Josh Peck, and Juicy J already recorded. “I do love sitting down and talking to people,” she said. “For it to be coming back in a way that I’m excited about, it makes me happy.”

Althoff’s podcast update arrived one day after Hulu revealed the cast for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which includes her alongside influencers like Aspyn Ovard and Avery Woods.

Speaking about that opportunity, she said it wasn’t something she had originally pictured for herself, but she decided to embrace it when it came up. “The opportunity came… and I’m really excited for it,” she said.

Over the past year, Althoff has addressed intense online criticism tied to her divorce and family life, while also setting boundaries around her relationship with basketball player Tyler Hawkins. She’s described the relationship as “great” but has been selective about how much of it appears online.
