Bobbi Althoff is making it clear that not everything in her life is up for public consumption—especially her relationship. While promoting season two of her podcast Not This Again, the creator opened up about why she keeps her romance with basketball player Tyler Hawkins largely out of the spotlight, despite growing fan interest.

“Things are great. We are doing well,” Althoff said to People in a March 24 interview, noting that the pair has been together for over a year.

Still, she acknowledged hesitation about sharing too much online. “I’m still indifferent whenever I share him online,” she explained, adding that her audience doesn’t always respond positively to her personal happiness. “Because the people who follow me don’t want me to be happy, apparently.”

That tension has shaped how she approaches visibility. Rather than posting frequent updates about her relationship, Althoff has chosen to keep most of it offline, sharing only occasional, lighthearted moments.

Althoff’s rise has been tied to her viral interview style and her podcast work, including Not This Again, which returned for a second season on Feb. 18. She’s also preparing to launch a new show, That’s BS (That’s Bobbi & Suki), alongside rapper Sukihana.

Her relationship with Hawkins comes after a public divorce from Cory Althoff, with whom she shares two daughters. At the time, she faced heavy online scrutiny after revealing she was dating again, an experience that has influenced how much she now chooses to disclose.

Previously, she described Hawkins as “everything that I’ve ever wanted in someone,” emphasizing that their connection is grounded in normalcy rather than spectacle. “We have a pretty normal relationship. We do very normal things,” she said.

Outside of her personal life, Althoff has also stepped into new territory professionally. She recently fronted a Valentine’s Day lingerie campaign with Adore Me, a move she admitted initially made her nervous. The campaign stood out for pairing her understated, awkward humor with a traditionally glamorous concept.
