Eddie Griffin isn’t listening to Drake’s new album, Iceman, because he thinks the Toronto rapper is too “sensitive.”

In the May 20 episode of his NNN show (around the 9:30 mark), the comedian gave his thoughts about Drake’s new album Iceman — pretty much saying he hasn’t listened to it, and has no intent to.

“I haven't heard the album because I refuse to buy garbage, but the ice-melting man is said to have a song clowning LeBron James because he took a picture on the sidelines with Kendrick Lamar after taking a picture with Drake,” joked Griffin.

“He took a picture with your enemy? I didn’t know y’all were dating,” he added, before saying that Drake “sounds like a bitch to me.”

“It's over. Just take your owl ass and travel in the dark quietly because owls, they move quietly,” Griffin added.

The song that Griffin is referring to is Drizzy’s “Make Them Remember.” On the track, Drake airs out his grievances towards people who switched up on him during his beef with Kendrick Lamar in 2024.

Drake appears to have taken issue with James for attending Lamar’s “The Pop Out: Ken & Friends” concert in Los Angeles and dancing along to the apocalyptically destructive diss song “Not Like Us.”

On “Make Them Remember,” Drake doesn’t refer to James by name, but he does use his jersey number (23) to say he’s not a “real n***a” and has “made a career out of switching teams up.”

James hasn’t addressed Drake’s issue with him, but he did speak a bit about their relationship during an interview for Complex’s 360 with Speedy Morman last year. At the time, he said there’s “always love” between him and Drake.

“Always wish him the best,” James said. “Obviously, um, different places right now, currently. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing mine. But it’s always love, for sure.”
