ASAP Rocky is ringing in the new year with a cryptic tease that has fans buzzing about his next visual release, including a surprising cameo from Winona Ryder.

On Friday (Jan. 2), the Harlem rapper shared on Instagram a preview an upcoming music video starring Ryder. The brief teaser opens with a striking image of a person standing in the street, with thinning hair and an oxygen tube, immediately setting a surreal, unsettling tone.

Moments later, the screen cuts to black, revealing a title card that reads: "'Punk Rocky' ASAP Rocky Folkert Verdoorn Simon Becks A.K.A. The Three Musketeers Produced By Magna Studios Freenjoy AWGE Starring Winona Ryder."

The clip then returns to the person, now dancing and vibing to a track playing in the background, offering just enough energy to spark fan speculation on what Rocky is cooking up.

Rocky's caption also added to the hype, where he claimed he already has the video of the year.

"VIDEO OF THE FUCCKIN YEAR !!! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026 - DONTBEDUMB PUNK ROCKY MONDAY," he wrote, confirming the visual is tied to his long-awaited upcoming album Don't Be Dumb.

Outside of music, the rapper is giving back to his community of origin. Last month, he announced a partnership with Bilt for a "Rent Free" campaign tied to the album's rollout. As part of the initiative, Rocky and Bilt will cover rent for tenants in the Harlem building where he grew up for the month of January.

In addition to the community-focused effort, Rocky has designed a limited-edition vinyl for Don't Be Dumb, which is available through a special pre-order for Bilt members. He also appeared in a special edition of Bilt's monthly game show Rent Free, giving participants the chance to win rent payments of up to $2,500, with top winners receiving signed copies of his exclusive vinyl.

Don't Be Dumb is scheduled to arrive Jan. 16, marking Rocky's first studio album in nearly eight years. The project's cover art was designed by filmmaker Tim Burton, further signaling a visually bold and unconventional era for the rapper.
