ASAP Rocky is giving back to the community that raised him.
The rapper recently announced he’s teaming up with Bilt for a "Rent Free" campaign to celebrate the upcoming release of his fourth studio album, Don't Be Dumb.
Alongside releasing a self-designed limited-edition vinyl of his next LP, Rocky and the loyalty and payments platform are covering rent for the tenants in his childhood building in January 2026.
“For me, it’s always been about your community and neighborhood. Harlem made me who I am, from uptown to downtown, and that connection to place is everything,” Rocky, 37, said in a press statement. “When Bilt said they wanted to cover rent for everyone in the same building where I grew up, that hit different. That’s not just business, that’s understanding what community really means.
“This vinyl is my love letter to New York, and being able to give back to the exact place that raised me while helping people across the country with their rent is the kind of partnership that actually matters.”
The vinyl is available to members through a special pre-order on Bilt's app and website.
Rocky also appears in a special edition of Bilt's monthly game show, "Rent Free," giving nationwide Bilt Members the chance to win free rent payments of up to $2,500. The top 10 winners will receive signed editions of the exclusive vinyl, and hundreds of additional members will earn bonus Bilt Points.
Don't Be Dumb is set to release Friday, January 16, 2026, marking his first studio album in nearly eight years, with cover art designed by filmmaker Tim Burton.
