MGK has revealed that he's banned from using TSA PreCheck for a past drug charge stemming from him being busted for cocaine in New Zealand.
The Cleveland rapper and singer was a guest on a recent episode of the Take Flight podcast, where early in the interview, he said he was "caught with cocaine" on his return flight from New Zealand.
"Traveling was difficult because I have a level one narcotics possession or
whatever. So it makes it hard for me to get visas and all that stuff to get over here," Machine Gun Kelly explained. "I think my statute of limitations is like 10 years or something."
The Lost Americana artist revealed that he continues to avoid TSA PreCheck and other methods of early flight entry and that he’s "still stuck in the lines like normal."
The father-of-two has long discussed how his past drug use impacted his personal relationships with his oldest child, Casie, and ex-fiancée, actor Megan Fox, who allegedly kicked the rapper out of her home after he briefly resumed his drug habit.
In 2024, MGK revealed that "step one" to his sobriety journey was his now-16-year-old daughter informing him that she "can tell" when he’s high.
"That was step one for me. As a father and as a man, to be the father I wish my dad would have been, I have to break this generational curse for my kid," he said on an episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game.
