Megan Thee Stallion has performed her final show as part of Broadway's Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
On Friday (May 1), just days after announcing her early exit from the long-running musical, the three-time Grammy winner, who played Zidler in the show, delivered her final performance. Her friend and collaborator Cardi B was one of the people in attendance — although, she only caught the final 40 minutes.
During the curtain call, a cheerful Megan led attendees in a "Real Hot Girl Shit" chant. "The love I received from the Hotties, I'm so grateful and appreciative, bitch, I don't even have time to be sad," she said.
The Houston native was originally slated to perform for eight weeks from March 24 to May 17, but the schedule was first adjusted due to her previously falling ill, and, more recently, the show was affected by her breakup with NBA player Klay Thompson.
Just hours after announcing her split from the Dallas Mavericks player, in late April, Megan Megan took the stage but was visibly emotional by the show's end.
Days after, the Houston Hottie — who is the first woman in Moulin Rouge history to play Zidler — announced that the May 1 performance would be her last. The current run of the show will continue until August 30. The role of Zidler will be taken over by actor Patrick Clanton.
In a statement posted to her Instagram Story on April 25, Megan said that she and Klay called it quits after nearly one year of dating. The rapper also alleged that Thompson had cheated and wanted to be non-monogamous.
"I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," Megan later said in a statement to Complex. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
