Lil Wayne will be hitting the road this summer to commemorate over 20 years since the release of his 2004 album Tha Carter, following the success of his 2025 tour.

On Tuesday (March 17), Weezy announced that his upcoming tour will begin on June 30 in Bangor, Maine before continuing for 28 more North American dates. Last year, Lil Wayne embarked on Tha Carter IV Tour in support of his fourteenth studio album of the same name.

Supporting the five-time Grammy winner on the 20 Years of Tha Carter Tour are 2 Chainz and The Game, while special guests from the Young Money camp are likely to pop up. The tour hits major cities and small towns including Chicago, Grand Rapids, Long Beach, Fort Worth, Nashville, Raleigh and more before concluding October 23 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Released in 2004, Tha Carter featured the Mannie Fresh-produced “Go D.J.,” which was Weezy’s most commercially successful song until he released “Lollipop” four years later.

Wayne’s Tha Carter series continued for four more installments, including Tunechi’s sixth studio album, Tha Carter III, which won Best Rap Album at the Grammys in 2009.

Ticket availability for the tour begins on Wednesday (March 18) with a Citi presale at 10 a.m. local time, followed by an artist presale at 12 p.m. General onsale begins Friday (March 20) at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster, and a special two-for-$75 ticket offer will be launched through the code DayOnes.
