Caleb Williams has responded to Lil Wayne’s angry post about the Chicago Bears beating the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs this season.

After the Bears pulled off an epic comeback win against the Packers, Lil Wayne, who’s a diehard Packers fan and has let it be known to the world over the years, decided to hop on X and attempt to criticize Williams, who’s the Bears’ quarterback.

"We just [lost] a playoff game to a n***a w purple nails we fkn suk bear a**! Bare a**!!!" he wrote. "We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Straight like that."

The "purple nails" comment was a reference to the QB occasionally having painted nails during games, something he started doing late in high school.

"My mom does nails. She’s done it my whole life," he said in a 2022 interview. "It’s just kind of always been around me. Nobody else does it. I just kinda like to do new things.”

Turns out that the Iceman caught wind of the post and clapped back at Weezy with a simple but effective troll.

Williams’ response was short and sweet. He quoted the rapper's message with a snowflake emoji and a superhero emoji, followed with a use of the #DABEARS hashtag.

Lil Wayne had every right to be upset with his team. The Williams-led Bears scored 25 points in the fourth quarter of the game, leading to his team winning 31-27. The loss marked one of the biggest collapses in Packers history — which doubly stings, since the Bears are the team’s biggest rival.

The Bears’ next game will be in the divisional round of the playoffs on either Jan. 17 or Jan. 18. They’re set to face off against either the Philadelphia Eagles or Los Angeles Rams in their second playoff game.

Meanwhile, the Packers are headed home to their couches. After the loss against the Bears, coach Matt LaFleur spoke about the team’s lack of composure in the game.

"We've got to look at it. We've got to talk. There's a lot of pieces," he said to the press. "All you're trying to do in the moment is, when mistakes are made, you're correcting them. There's not long discussions on the sideline. It's just you correct the mistakes and you try to keep it moving. And I felt like just our team got a little bit disheveled in the second half."
