Drake appears to be a fan of his latest hit being remixed with a Ye classic.
On Tuesday, Drizzy shared a fan-made edit "Nokia" being remixed with the beat from Ye's "Slow Jamz."
Drake's co-sign of the unofficial remix comes after years of issues between the rappers. Ye recently spoke about Drake during a stream with Akademiks earlier this month, saying that he reached out to the Toronto rapper about possibly collaborating.
"You know, I sent 'Preacher Man' off Bully, the intro, to Drake first," Ye said. "He said something like, 'Oh man, don’t mean to, like, spoil your dreams' or some shit," Ye added when asked about Drake's response. "I don’t know. He just did his thing and shit. I think before it’s all said and done, like, I’ll do an album."
To date, "Forever" is the only song that Drake and Ye have been featured on together, though Ye co-produced "Find Your Love," "Feel No Ways," "Say What's Real" and other songs for the five-time Grammy winner. As for a joint project between the rap icons, the closest fans might've gotten was their 2021 Free Larry Hoover benefit concert.
