Cardi B wants Los Angeles nightclubs to change their hours so she can pull all-nighters.
After the Am I the Drama? rapper performed a medley and won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2026 BET Awards on Sunday (June 28), she held an Instagram Live session where she told fans about her post-show plans. The Grammy winner immediately wanted to go out, but she had a big obstacle: bars, restaurants and clubs in California stop serving alcohol at 2 a.m.
“L.A., the clubs be finishing at 2 a.m. That shit is trash,” Cardi said around the 5-minute mark of the video below. “Petition for the clubs to finish at 3 a.m. This is why the LA fucking economy is going is going to go down. First, y'all don't put forks or spoons [in bags] when y'all do a fucking delivery order. And the clubs close too early. Like, what the fuck is 2 a.m.? I only got two shots in me at 2 a.m. Like, come on now.”
Cardi concluded by saying that she would be “outside” regardless of club closings. The superstar, who completed her first headlining tour in April after 35 shows, also called for fans to stop bullying BIA despite the rapper dissing her on Drama standout track “Pretty & Petty.”
