During her performance at the 2026 BET Awards, Cardi B pulled out all the stops for a medley of Am I The Drama? Tracks, including her diss aimed at BIA.
On Sunday, Cardi delivered a high-energy performance that notably included the Am I the Drama? highlight, “Pretty & Petty.” As she performed the track, which is a diss against BIA, she was on stage at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater with her six previous BET Awards wins held up by her backup dancers. “Do she even got a BET Award?” she rapped as her awards were in view.
During her appearance on stage, she also performed “ErrTime,” “Hello,” and “Check Please.” She also busted out a brief sample of Jay-Z’s classic 2004 Timbaland-produced single “Dirt Off Your Shoulder.”
Following her performance at the BET Awards, where she also picked up the Best Female Hip Hop Artist Award, Cardi hopped on Instagram Live to talk directly to her fans and asked them to go easy on BIA.
“I know my fans is gonna hate this,” she laughed. “But please, don’t pick on that girl. I am very big against internet bullying, unless my fans have to… I don't want to be the reason why somebody gets on the Internet and has a bad day or gets depressed or feels bad or feels like the world is against them. Because I really went through that before.”
It echoes a comment Cardi made during a recent stop on the Little Miss Drama Tour in Boston, which is BIA’s hometown. “We not gonna do that. Don’t bully that girl on social media. Don’t do that, don’t do that,” she told the crowd after performing the song. “She's gonna wanna beat the shit out of me after today. If I see you, I see you, I don’t give a fuck—it’s up and stuck. But don’t bully her on social media, I don’t like that.
