A woman took a hammer to Drake's New York City October's Very Own store in New York City on Tuesday (Aug. 26).

As reported by TMZ and seen in the clip below, the woman was captured on video causing significant damage to the store, which opened in 2016. The woman appeared to shatter several windows, and police said she tried to set the building on fire.

Several people were also seen walking past, not paying much attention to what she was doing. When the woman emerged from the store, in pants and a bra, she seemed unfazed and went on her way.

Not long after she left, she was apprehended by a pair of New York Police Department officers. She was placed in handcuffs as the officers searched her bag, and she was arrested.

The woman has been charged with criminal mischief and attempted arson, according to NYPD sources. A motive has not been determined, and Drake has not commented on the incident.

The vandalism to his store comes not long after Drake was called out by Suge Knight when he appeared to share a look at 2Pac's Death Row Records chain.

The Death Row Records co-founder said that he doesn't believe that the chain is real and that he should consider beating up whoever sold it to him.

“That's not 2Pac’s chain. It's not a Death Row chain. Whoever sold you that chain, Drake, you need to go beat his motherfucking ass. Crazy,” Knight said.
