Boi-1da Wants to Know What Drake Haters Listen to 'When Tings Are Around'

Predictably, some were quick to trollishly reply with mentions of key Kendrick Lamar tracks.

Boi-1da has a question for those who “hate” Drake.

In a Monday-shared update to X, the once-great platform formerly known as Twitter, the OVO Sound producer and frequent Drake collaborator was quick to get a flood of replies after asking, “What do n***as that hate Drake listen to when tings are around?” When one reply cited Drake’s recent Iceman-teasing track “What Did I Miss,” Boi-1da argued “they love that shit.”

Expectedly, several replies included mentions of some key Kendrick Lamar tracks, “Wacced Out Murals” and “Meet the Grahams” among them. Boi-1da questioned both, at one point saying “every woman evacuate the function” if the latter were played.

“These responses going to give me laughs for weeks,” Boi-1da later said, adding in a “thank you” to X at large.

Earlier this year, Boi-1da took the stage at the 2025 Juno Awards to accept the International Achievement Award. During his speech, the Grammy-winning producer called the moment “the highest honor” and thanked everyone from his family to “my brother” and “the greatest rapper of all time,” Drake.

“We started this together,” he said at the time, as seen below. “We did this together. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for Drake, man. All the sacrifices he made, all the doors he kicked down for a lot of people.”

Next for Drake is Iceman, his first new solo album since 2023’s For All the Dogs. Back in July, Complex took a look at everything we know about the project so far. Revisit that here.
