Robert Morgenroth, the president of D4vd’s touring company and the general manager of his record label, was reportedly grilled by a district attorney in front of a grand jury in the homicide investigation of teen Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

As reported by TMZ, a grand jury is hearing evidence in the death of 15-year-old Hernandez, whose body was found heavily decomposed in the trunk of an impounded Tesla that was registered under D4vd’s name.

Morgenroth testified in front of the jury on Monday (Dec. 8), and at one point he reportedly claimed deputy district attorney Beth Silverman was “very pushy on why I didn’t call police.”

Morgenroth, who spoke with his lawyer in a corridor outside of the room where he testified, reportedly told his lawyer, “I said I feel like I didn’t have the responsibility to do that, and just wanted to continue with the tour.”

Morgenroth is the general manager of D4vd’s record label, Mogul Vision, and the president of Zara Brothers Travel, the touring company D4vd worked with when his tour came to an abrupt end earlier this year following the discovery of Hernandez’s body.

Last month, the Los Angeles Police Department reportedly began to explore D4vd as a potential suspect in the homicide case. He was initially not considered a suspect, and no one has been charged in her murder.

A source indicated that D4vd is reportedly not being cooperative with police amid the investigation and has not yet been interviewed by authorities. Attorney Mark Geragos, who has spoken with people involved in the investigation, also recently said new data suggested that authorities are looking into another suspect.

Earlier this month, Google revealed that D4vd was the most-searched individual in 2025. Other figures who were in the top 10 most-Googled list included Kendrick Lamar, Jimmy Kimmel, Bianca Censori, and Zohran Mamdani.
