Beyoncé turned heads this past weekend at F1 Grand Prix of Las Vegas. But as her ardent fan base knows, Bey is very detail-oriented, and often gives the Beyhive hints about her next move. And fans think she just gave us a big hint about what to expect next.
Over the course of the weekend, Bey wore a form-fitting leather one-piece suit to the track, where she hopped in a race car and took it for a spin. Known for switching up her aesthetic shortly before a new album era (see: her outfit at the 2024 Grammys), fans believe that the leather look may hint at the direction of the next album.
“THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE ROCK AND ROLL ERA,” wrote one fan in the Instagram comments.
“The cowboy it’s not here,” noting that Bey has seemingly retired the country aesthetic tied to her 2024 album Cowboy Carter.
For context, Bey kicked off her trilogy project back in 2022, with Act I, Renaissance, being a dance album. Act II, Cowboy Carter, was a country album — which won the Grammys for Best Country Album and Album of the Year at the 2025 ceremony. Over the course of the past few years, fans have theorized that Act III of the trilogy will be a rock album.
By her side throughout the weekend was her husband, Jay-Z. The two were photographed side-by-side, with their backs turned to the camera. Jay’s jacket contained the number 9 on the back, and as he was standing next to Bey, so fans immediately took this as a hint that Act III — which will mark her ninth album — is on the way.
Of course, Bey is known to keep details of her craft mum until rollout time. But for now, the Beyhive is waiting with bated breath for her next move.
