She earned the Associated Press Women’s College Basketball Player of the Year award in 2021 and was named the USBWA National Freshman of the Year. Bueckers’ standout performance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament included a 26-point game against Baylor, showcasing her ability to perform under pressure.
