Paige Bueckers is a women’s college basketball player who made an immediate impact when she debuted for the University of Connecticut Huskies in the 2020-2021 season. She was born on October 20, 2001, in Edina, Minnesota. She earned the Associated Press Women’s College Basketball Player of the Year award in 2021 and was named the USBWA National Freshman of the Year. Bueckers’ standout performance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament included a 26-point game against Baylor, showcasing her ability to perform under pressure.
