Here’s How to Participate in Telfar’s Online Rainbow Drop

The online version of the bag drop is merely the latest inventive Telfar tactic and follows the in-person NYFW experience earlier this month in Brooklyn.

Following its mid-NYFW Rainbow store bag sale earlier this month, Telfar is bringing the experience to online shoppers.

Indeed, starting Sept. 23 at 12 p.m. ET, prospective customers will be given the chance to purchase any bag in any size or color with swift shipping, until the bags are sold out. To be clear, the online version of the Telfar Rainbow drop is not a pre-order.

The process of securing bags during the drop is a characteristically easy one. First, simply pick your preferred size and color in the brand’s Shopping Bag silhouette. Then add those selections to the cart, check out, and wait. Only the Shopping Bag silhouette is included in the drop. Shipping is described as immediate, with orders slated to begin being sent out on Sept. 29.

For the in-person drop, shoppers were allowed entry into the Fulton Street Mall store 100 at a time and given 10 minutes to buy as many as five bags.

The Telfar Clemens-founded brand has routinely utilized inventive ways of getting their pieces into the hands of the public, including the blind pre-order method earlier this year.
