Telfar is doing customers a solid.
During New York Fashion Week, the Telfar Clemens brand will host a massive pop-up sale for its highly coveted Shopping Bag, aka the “Bushwick Birkin.” The one-day event will take place this weekend at the Rainbow store in downtown Brooklyn, where shoppers can secure up to five bags in any size and color. The sale only applies to Telfar’s signature piece, and will not include its circle bags, duffles, or collaborative designs.
The elusive accessories are available in small, medium, and large, and cost $150, $202, and $275, respectively. Colorways include classic staples like black, white, and navy, as well as more standout options such as copper, grape, and highlighter green.
The Shopping Bag sale will go down between 5:30-7:30 p.m. ET Sunday. Customers may want to get there early, as the line will form at 3 p.m on a first come, first serve basis. Visitors will also get the chance to purchase the bag(s) of their choice while in line, making the process faster and easier.
Telfar will host the sale along with Telfar TV personalities. The event will also be filmed, which means those who are camera shy may want to sit this one out. All major credit and debit cards will be accepted, as the sale will be a no-cash event. Customers can also purchase their bags through Klarna’s payment plan. All sales will be final.
