Retired UFC fighter Jon Jones has gone viral for a road rage incident where he raised his middle finger at the guy recording.
A driver named Bryan Beltran posted a video on social media explaining what happened: A man in a black Ford SVT pickup truck nearly swerved into his lane three times, so Beltran raised his middle finger at him. After that, both drivers pulled over in a parking lot where the confrontation ensued.

While standing at his car, Beltran yells at Jones, who walks over with his hand in his pocket. As he gets close, still being yelled at, Jones gently tells Beltran, “You’ve gotta calm down, bro.”
After Beltran tells him that he should learn how to drive, Jones attempts to defuse the situation by saying, “You gotta relax bro.” The former UFC fighter sticks his middle finger out in the guy’s face, presumably at the smartphone that Beltran is using to record the confrontation. The video ends soon after.
In the caption for the video, Beltran wrote, “No hate or hard feelings towards my guy John [sic], but I think he might need to take some driving classes cause he almost hit (me) multiple times😅.”
This isn’t Jones’ first major situation involving vehicles. In February of 2025, he was charged in relation to an incident where he allegedly fled the scene of an accident and threatened a police officer.
In September, the charges were dropped by the Bernalillo County district attorney’s office, which said that it had "reason to believe the defendant's alibi defense is credible." Jones had claimed that he hadn’t left the house that night when a woman in a car accident claimed that Jones had been driving the vehicle.
In 2015, Jones was arrested and charged with a felony hit-and-run after fleeing the scene of a crash that injured a 25-year-old woman. He ended up pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and was sentenced to supervised probation.
He also pleaded guilty to DWI charges in 2012 in New York and in 2020 in New Mexico.
