Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni Says He’s ‘Close to Being Done’ With A.J. Brown Questions

Win or lose, there's almost never a dull moment when it comes to A.J. Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Over the last two seasons, Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown has hardly been a stranger to making media noise when it comes to just about anything that happens outside the lines.

Whether Brown is addressing the number of targets he's seeing per game, casually reading a book during an actual NFL game, or posting cryptic messages on X and Instagram, there's really been no shortage of headline-grabbing moments from the All-Pro receiver.

The latest? Well, the great No. 11 opted to take his talents to a Twitch stream to seemingly express his involvement, or lack thereof, in the Eagles' offense.

"If you got me on Fantasy, man, get rid of me," Brown hilariously stated.

To the surprise of likely very few NFL fans, in addition to Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and probably the team's entire front office, the passive-aggressive route was taken once again and it absolutely sounds like Sirianni has had enough of what's become regularly visited, incessant chatter.

It's worth noting that Sirianni wisely addressed the matter in a pretty diplomatic way, which feels like the smartest approach he could have chosen in handling both the media and his routinely expressive star player:

"Yeah guys, I'm close to being done answering these questions with this," Sirianni said. "He's [A.J. Brown] working hard and he is a big part of this game plan, and will be a big part of the game plan going forward. And, he's working like crazy when he's here. And I'm excited to have him."

While not exactly sprinting his way directly towards answering much of anything specific regarding Brown's latest comments, Sirianni more or less slammed the door shut on this being a primary topic of conversation regardless of what may or may not transpire in the final eight games of the regular season.

Quite honestly, it's difficult to argue with Sirianni and his preference to throw the whole thing aside before things reach another level of ridiculousness.

Because if Brown and his noted public frustrations have now managed to surface by way of playing Madden on a live Twitch stream with @JankyRondo, it's probably safe to say no one knows what might be right around the corner.

And, really, the bottom line—whether Brown is thriving or not as a key focal point in the offense—is that the first place Eagles are cruising in the NFC East with a record of 7-2, with the Dallas Cowboys sitting at a somewhat comically distant 3-5.
