Two women were shot during the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory parade in the city of Brotherly Love.

On Friday, the Philadelphia Police Department reported that two women, ages 20 and 27, were shot in the leg around 2:35 p.m. ET and received treatment at a medical tent while the team and city officials addressed fans at the parade. Both women are in stable condition, and police said that no one in the crowd heard any gunshots, nor was it mentioned during the parade's live broadcast.

Footage from CBSNews Chopper 3 showed an ambulance in the middle of a crowd at the parade. Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward and help in the investigation.

"At this time, no crime scene has been located, and no weapon has been recovered. Police have not made any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing," authorities said in a statement.

Eagles fans filled up the streets of Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon to get a good spot to celebrate the team's huge win last weekend. The shooting is the second act of gun violence at a championship parade in a year, as a gunman killed one and injured several others during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade last year.
