Tom Brady’s winning legacy is expanding from the gridiron to the open water.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion’s Team Brady claimed the E1 Series World Championship title for the second time this weekend as the electric boating competition made its U.S. debut in Miami’s Biscayne Bay.

The Miami race, dubbed the “F1 of the water,” marked the final stop of the 2025 UIM E1 Series, capping off a year of racing that spanned Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Croatia, Italy, Monaco, and Nigeria.

Team Brady entered the finale atop the standings with 154 points and claimed the E1 first-place title for the second year in a row after clenching the inaugural world championship.

E1, an all-electric powerboat racing league, has become a magnet for star-studded ownership. Alongside Brady, team owners include Will Smith, LeBron James, Steve Aoki, and Marc Anthony.

Smith and Anthony were spotted along the Miami waterfront soaking up the sunshine and cheering on their teams during the high-energy weekend.

For Brady, the championship underscores the familiar narrative of the relentless pursuit of excellence.

“Embodying Tom’s fierce competitiveness and desire to be at the forefront of change, Team Brady leads the way in E1 both on and off the water,” the team said in a statement.

Earlier this season, Brady said that one of the best parts of E1 has been the camaraderie among owners.

“We have a great chat that we all kind of talk a lot of [expletive] on, so that’s the best part,” he joked to USA TODAY Sports.
