IShowSpeed was extremely upset when he discovered his stream lagged when he met NFL legend Tom Brady.
A clip from Speed’s stream — which you can check out below — shows him yelling at his production team.
"Why the fuck is it lagging while I’m meeting Tom Brady? Why is it lagging? Why is nobody saying shit?" Speed shouts. "I’m talking to Tom Brady for 10 minutes about his Super Bowl trophies, and ain’t nobody saying shit. Production! Production! Come on. This is the moment. What is going on?"
In a second clip from his stream, Speed reveals he "fired" his cameraman Slipz. "He’s no longer on my team," the streamer said.
This week, the 20-year-old kicked off his America Tour by pulling up to the dock at Brady’s Indian Creek Island mansion in Miami.
In the stream, Speed is seen holding an American flag and wearing a costume that resembles something worn by the country's forefathers: a powdered wig styled in a ponytail, a bicorne hat, a gold vest, matching breeches and boots.
"What are you doing here? What are you dressed like? What kinda costume is that?" Brady asks in the clip below, at which point Speed pretends to be surprised that he ran into the NFL legend. "Tom Brady?" he asks.
"You’re in Miami. You think you wouldn’t see me. You’re at my house," Brady responds.
Speed then asks if he can come in. "This is the start of the America Tour. You gotta welcome me with open arms," he says, before Brady obliges and Speed gets off the boat.
In another video, Speed is gifted a signed Cristiano Ronaldo rookie card from Brady’s card company, CardVault. "I don’t even have this one," he says, surprised. "Damn, this was rare. This is a 2002 one."
Speed's been a huge Ronaldo fan since childhood, last year splurging on the athlete's $100,000 custom chain. At ComplexCon 2024, Speed reiterated his admiration, calling Ronaldo superior to Lionel Messi.
The streamer and Ronaldo met in 2023, an encounter Speed reflected on fondly at ComplexCon.
"I know it might be cliche, but that's just my favorite moment," he told Complex's Speedy Morman. "All the events that led up to that — it was just so organic, so natural. And I worked so much to get to that moment and it happened right there. I was high on life for, maybe, a whole week from that moment."
