Adrien Broner is reflecting on some of the biggest purchases of his career, revealing that he spent an estimated $9 million on jewelry over the years, and today, he doesn't have a single piece left to show for it.

During a recent appearance on One Night with Steiny, the former four-division boxing champion opened up about his lavish spending habits while discussing money, success and the lessons he's learned throughout his career.

Broner explained that despite the financial ups and downs he's experienced, he's comfortable with every stage of life because he's "been through every level." That mindset led him to defend his massive jewelry spending when asked whether expensive chains and watches were one of the worst ways to spend money.

"Not for a n***a like me," Broner said.

When pressed on how much he believes he spent on jewelry throughout his career, Broner estimated the total at roughly $9 million. However, he no longer owns any of it.

"I'm probably about... nine million and I don't have a piece," he said.

The figure stunned host Steiny, who immediately questioned how anyone could spend that much on jewelry. Broner explained that the spending wasn't just for himself. According to the boxer, he made sure his entire circle was outfitted with expensive pieces as well.

In addition to buying jewelry for friends and associates, Broner admitted he constantly purchased pieces for himself during the height of his success, but a combination of life circumstances and his own carelessness led to him occasionally losing valuable items while partying — or having them stolen.

"I had my whole team, everybody had watches. Everybody had chains," Broner said. "I was getting so much jewelry myself you know but the situations just me being clumsy. One day I'll get drunk and lose a $500,000 bracelet."

Elsewhere in the interview, Broner touched on his relationship with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. While acknowledging that the two aren't as close as they once were, Broner suggested there's still mutual respect between them.

"Certain people drift off," he said. "But when they link, you can tell they love each other."

Broner also reflected on maturity and decision-making, jokingly referring to himself as one of the original "crash out boys" before explaining that he's learned the importance of slowing down and thinking before reacting.

"Sometimes you just got to think before you act," Broner said. "I know in the heat of the moment it's hard to take a deep breath and be like, 'Should I do this?' But that's how good I got at it."
