Dior Joaillerie artistic director Victoire de Castellane aims to express her affinity for “the rich diversity of life, from flora to fauna” in the new Diorissima collection.
Unveiled this week, the collection is at once abstract and natural, with its presentation loosely divided into three separate “worlds” of expression. All told, 141 pieces fall under the Diorissima banner, with the collection featuring everything from necklaces to brooches.
Key to the new pieces is the use of lacquer, which boosts the light-capturing capabilities of each, making every encounter one to remember.

As Victoire de Castellane explained to Harper’s Bazaar Australia last year, her approach to jewelry is rooted in her treatment of the form as being akin to “the best type of makeup” due to a truly great piece’s ability to not only complement one’s skin, but to potentially enhance it.
“There’s a link between seduction and jewelry that is sort of primitive,” she said at the time.
