Wizards Player Kelly Oubre Jr. Could Be Fined By NBA Over His Choice of Coat

The NBA doesn't care if the Wizards' Kelly Oubre Jr. is rocking Supreme, the league is more concerned with the two words emblazoned on the back.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports that the NBA plans to determine whether or not the coat worn by Washington Wizards forward Kelly Oubre Jr. prior to last night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers was in violation of the league dress code.

Before getting lit up by LeBron James to the tune of 57 points, Oubre walked into the Wizards' locker room wearing the Supreme F**k You Faux Fur Coat. As he made his way by a group of reporters, the 21-year-old purposely turned his back to the camera to show off the repeated "F**k You" emblazoned on the back of the coat.

The irony behind Oubre's faux fur coat is that any site posting an image of the outerwear would probably classify it as NSFW. However, the third-year player literally thought it was suitable to wear this coat to work. The Supreme coat also took away from the entire look, which was not only aggressive, but it may have been his way of taking a not so subtle shot at the media.

Was Oubre's decision to pair the coat and its message with the newspaper-inspired outfit his way of delivering a direct message to reporters? He probably would never admit to it.

If the league decides to hand down a fine on Oubre, it will be his second one over the last few weeks. He was slapped with a $15,000 fine for his role in the altercation between Draymond Green and Bradley Beal.
