Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has made his interest in Sydney Sweeney clear after the actor said she’s looking for an “athletic” man.
Last year, Sweeney broke off her engagement to businessman Jonathan Davino after roughly seven years of dating. In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Sweeney defined her type as "athletic and outgoing and funny."
"I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me," she continued. "And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man…oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice. Look, I am a boss in my life. I take control. I go after what I want. I am confident, and I am successful, and I don’t actually need a man."
Shooting his shot in a post on X on Friday (January 30), Nacua was particularly struck by Sweeney’s love for free-falling, captioning a Complex re-post about the actor’s type, "Love skydiving."
But the Rams player might want to check in with Sweeney’s friends first, as she added that she’s tight with an "incredible group of girlfriends."
She continued: "I’ve got a team of badass women. That is very intimidating to a lot of guys, so a guy needs to be able to stand in that with me."
Sweeney was last linked to Scooter Braun, whom the entertainer reportedly spent time with during a Friendsgiving last month.
