Brooke Hogan doesn't take issue with not being in the will of her late father, famed wrestler and media personality Hulk Hogan.
Hogan (born Terry Gene Bollea) died at his home in Clearwater, Florida, from an apparent heart attack on July 24. He was 71 years old. At his time of death, Hogan and Brooke, the entertainer's daughter with his ex-wife Linda Hogan, were estranged and had been for quite some time. So it was no "surprise" to Brooke when she was left out of her father's $5 million will, two years after she asked to be removed from it.
"His decision is no surprise to me. It's what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets," Brooke, 37, told TMZ in a report published on Thursday (September 11). "My dad knows I'm a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time."
Brooke reportedly explained to the outlet that she's worked her way out of financial strain in the past and didn't seek monetary gain in her relationship with Hogan.
Brooke previously had questions regarding the circumstances of her father's death and sought an autopsy to ensure that he didn't die because of medical malpractice. Last month, it was reported that the vocalist visited a funeral home to view Hogan's body, and spoke to police afterwards.
Just days before Hogan passed away, Brooke reportedly said, "I love you" to him in their final conversation and felt "at peace" with the WWE legend.
Hogan and his ex-wife Linda divorced in 2009 after 26 years of marriage and also share a son, Nick, 35. The wrestler's third and final wife, Sky Daily, married him in 2023. Beneficiaries of Hogan's will, which includes his trademarks and intellectual property, have not yet been disclosed.
