Angel Reese isn't one to frequent gas stations.

This week, the Chicago Sky player and podcaster was getting her car fueled up while she sat inside. But some fans noticed Reese and took the opportunity to ask her for a picture.

"Look this is why I don't like going to the gas station because people always rolling up on my car," the 22-year-old began. Reese then rolled down her window to greet a female fan who said she was "so pretty in real life" and was surprised to see the WNBA star in person. Reese then accepted the woman's ask for a picture.

"Nah, that was a little scary. That's why I was like, 'Sure,'" Reese continued after taking a picture with the woman. "Because, at first, I don't
know, when people get out the car, I be like [makes back-up gesture]."

She continued, "Especially the world we living in right now–people getting killed by the day!"

Reese then asked if "you're so pretty in person" was a "backhanded compliment." "I mean I take it 'cause, see me in person," she concluded.

Since greeting a fan at the gas station, Reese has temporarily deactivated her Instagram account after receiving backlash for her spicy New Year's Eve dress.

She's since remained active on TikTok, cleverly using Hailey Bieber's "make bitches mad from scratch" soundbite in her latest post.
