Angel Reese says she won't disclose who she's in a relationship with until there's a ring on her finger.
The WNBA phenom sat with Complex's Speedy Morman for Complex Con(versations) during this year's ComplexCon in Las Vegas. During the sit-down, Reese talked about dating and even tried to get Morman to reveal whether he was flirting with GloRilla during a previous 360 With Speedy interview.
As Reese previously explained on X, formerly known as Twitter, she's keeping her dating life under wraps until she's married, which she reiterated to Morman.
"People always trying to find something, like, every time. It’s exhausting. I think people just need to mind their business," Reese told Morman. "So if you were to go date somebody, they’re still gonna find some little thing that she did in 2016 that you shouldn’t be worried about, and it’s none of their business. So, like I said: My private life is my private life. You’ll never see me in a relationship publicly until I’m married."
When Morman asked if Reese was confident that was the case, the WNBA star didn't hold back.
"I said what I said. Now if y’all see speculations and y’all see something, that’s what y’all see, but on my page, you won’t see me with no man."
Reese looked to her past dating experiences, sharing that guys she was previously involved with were harassed by her fans.
"It’s really about the other person, because I don’t like when people attack the other person," she said. "I’ve been in other situations or relationships where I’ve gone to their comments and all I see is, ‘Angel Reese, Angel Reese, Angel Reese, Angel Reese.’ I want them to live their life and I want to live my life and we can live our lives together. And I don’t like the pressure of dating me being on you. That’s why I keep it also private just to protect the other person, as well.”
In the past, there have been unverified rumors that she was dating everyone from Kevin Durant to Shedeur Sanders. However, on her podcast, Reese did once say that her ideal man has to be over '6'7"' and in the NBA.
Shortly after curving someone in the crowd at ComplexCon, the 22-year-old Chicago Sky player called her podcast episode with the "Big Mama" rapper and Mariah the Scientist her favorite because of the "girl talk" they shared. Reese also saluted rapper and previous Unapologetically Angel guest Latto for keeping her relationship on lock.
"You know how Latto is so secretive with her man? Y’all think y’all know who her man is but y’all don’t. That’s gonna be me," Reese said, adding, "I’ma be private. Y’all not gonna know nothing."
