The Chicago Sky power forward didn't reveal whether she returned the remaining $1,800 to Ball.

Lonzo Ball gave Angel Reese more than $1,800 to cover an ejection fine that turned out to be only $200.

The Chicago Bulls point guard was joined by his younger brother, fellow basketball player LiAngelo Ball, for a new episode of podcast, Unapologetically Angel this week, and the host revealed the actual cost of her fine.

In a June game where the Chicago Sky played against the New York Liberty, Reese received her fifth foul, and upon complaining, Reese was given two technical fouls, resulting in her game ejection.

Ball promptly went to X and offered to pay Reese's fine, writing, "Ref that threw out @Reese10Angel is weak btw… You know who you are (Keep ya money Angel I got you)." Reese responded, "Appreciate you gang!"

"So you gave me $2,000," Reese said around the 36-minute mark of the video below. "Do you know how much my fine actually was? It was only $200."

"I actually hit up Coach Weatherspoon to make sure you got that," Ball replied. "That's how you know I trusted her, though. I gave her some bread to give to you."

"I did get it, I appreciate you," Reese said. "She gave me in cash. I appreciate that."

Ball said he saw the incident go down in person, which was his first time attending a WNBA game. He called the foul a "terrible tech" before asking Reese if she appealed it.

"Yeah, but I didn't get my money back. I don't know how," Reese said.

Reese clearly isn't strapped for cash, as she hinted at ComplexCon 2024 that her net worth is higher than $2 million, although she didn't provide an exact dollar amount.
