Gillie Da Kid doesn’t appreciate Philadelphia Eagles slander.
When Gillie discovered that Cam Newton left Jalen Hurts off his Top 10 QB list—and compared his own career to Hurts’—Gillie slammed Newton on his Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. He started by pointing out the fact that Hurts has won two Super Bowls, while Newton has won zero, per Vibe. While Newton went to the Super Bowl with the Carolina Panthers in 2016, he didn't win.
Newton responded on his series, 4th & 1. “I got a question to ask, can you name one Gillie Da Kid album? Can you quote any of his music?” Newton said.
Gillie fired back in a social media video.
“A good day, Cam Newton. I seen you came at me because I said Jalen Hurts did what you couldn’t do… win a Super Bowl. So you wanna get all in your feelings? Man, shut your tight jeans wearing ass up. You had on a jersey with a bow tie, you corny-ass n***a!”
Gillie then enumerated all of the accolades Newton never won.
“What you do? Win MVP? Win a Super Bowl? Win the Super Bowl MVP? And you hating on him? ‘Cause he did what you couldn’t do. You wasn’t better than him.”
Gillie also clapped back at Newton’s dig about Gillie’s music.
“You talk about me, can you name one of my albums? You ain’t gotta be able to name of my albums, n***a. Fuck wrong with you?” he said. “You in my space, you ain’t bigger than me in this space, n***a. You a little ass boy in this space, n***a… Let's be for real. You out for clout chasing man.”
