Former Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore is facing new attention online after OnlyFans creator and fitness influencer Mia Sorety claimed he sent her flirtatious messages before his firing this week.

Sorety shared the allegation on Wednesday, December 10, posting on X (formerly Twitter) that she “wasn’t surprised he was all in my DMs trying to risk it all with an OF model,” and confirming in replies that she was “one of the many women he had such exchanges with.”

Sorety, who has amassed more than 1.7 million Instagram followers, said Moore reached out before his dismissal from the University of Michigan.

The school terminated the 39-year-old coach on Wednesday, December 10, after finding “credible evidence” he had “engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member,” according to its official statement. Moore was later detained in connection with an alleged assault.

Additional comments circulated online as users examined Moore’s digital footprint. One user wrote, “Look at Sherrone Moore’s following list… The dude follows hundreds of college girls, OnlyFans models, & female reporters/anchors. It’s crazy & obvious.”

Sorety responded directly to several of the posts, agreeing with the characterizations and maintaining that Moore’s behavior toward her was not an isolated incident.

The renewed scrutiny also swept in another woman, Michelle K, who appeared in a collage used by The New York Post, which was reporting on Moore’s social media activity. Although her photo accompanied the coverage, she made it clear she is not an OnlyFans creator and has no involvement in the allegations beyond Moore following her on Instagram.

“I have never met Sherrone Moore, I did nothing wrong, and I am respectfully requesting that you leave me out of this,” she wrote in a statement.

Michelle also said the implication had caused her distress and announced she would be stepping away from social media to protect her mental health. She thanked those who supported her while clarifying the situation.

Meanwhile, Moore remains under investigation. Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ revealed that a woman called emergency services, claiming the coach had been “attacking” her and had “stalked her for months.”

Officers from Saline and Pittsfield Township located Moore shortly after and transferred him to the Washtenaw County Jail.

Moore joined the Wolverines’ staff in 2018 and became head coach in 2024, posting an 18–8 record over two seasons. He signed a five-year, $5.5 million-per-year contract before the start of the 2024 season.

As of this writing, Moore had not publicly addressed Sorety’s claims.
