Odell Beckham Jr. is once again putting the New York Giants on his radar, signaling interest in a potential return that could mark the next chapter of his NFL career. The veteran wide receiver made it clear that a reunion with the franchise where he first became a star is something he would welcome.
According to USA Today, Beckham shared his thoughts with Kay Adams during an appearance at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where he was asked about the possibility of linking up with Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart.
The 33-year-old didn’t hesitate. “Weird you said that; that sounds great,” Beckham said. “If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that. Be excited about that. He’s a good dude. He’s young, and he likes to dance. I like all that.”
The moment doubled as a showcase for Beckham, who pulled off a signature one-handed catch and suggested it could be “hopefully” the start of his return to the league.
The connection to the New York Giants runs deep. Beckham was drafted 12th overall by the team in 2014 and quickly became one of the league’s most electric receivers, earning multiple Pro Bowl selections and recording three straight 1,000-yard seasons.
His early success helped define a new era of highlight-driven football, with his acrobatic catches becoming a staple across sports media.
However, Beckham’s path back to the NFL has been anything but straightforward. He last appeared in a regular-season game in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, where his production dipped to just nine catches for 55 yards before his release.
Injuries have also played a role in his career trajectory, most notably the torn ACL he suffered during Super Bowl LVI, which sidelined him for the entire 2022 season. Combined with declining team interest following his release and suspension, Beckham spent the 2025 season out of the league while weighing his next move.
The current Giants roster presents an intriguing possibility. Under head coach John Harbaugh—who previously coached Beckham during his time with the Baltimore Ravens—the team is now led by Dart, a young quarterback coming off a promising rookie campaign.
A veteran presence like Beckham could offer experience to a developing offense, though there has been no official indication from the organization about a potential signing.
