The long-simmering internet feud between Jason Luv and Adam22 is officially headed to the boxing ring this month.

The two are set to square off on January 23 in Miami as part of Adin Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions event, which will stream live on Ross’ Kick channel. While the matchup has already generated millions of views across social media, a resurfaced interview from 2023 is adding fresh fuel to the buildup — including Luv’s claim that he’d be willing to give Adam22 a significant advantage if the money was right.

In a December 2023 appearance on Gremlin University, Luv, whose real name is Jason Thomas, was asked whether he would ever seriously consider fighting Adam22. When the host floated a hypothetical $1 million guarantee for each fighter, Luv didn’t hesitate.

“If Adam would say no, I would be so f**king mad,” he said, noting that the financial incentive alone would be enough of a reason for the bout.

The conversation then turned to whether Luv would allow Adam22 to get the first shots in during a potential fight. Luv responded bluntly: “It’s a boxing match, why not? I would let him throw ten first, what do you mean? It’s a million dollars — 100 percent.”

Pressed further on whether he believed he could end the fight quickly, Luv was equally confident, saying a knockout would be “guaranteed.” At the time, the bout was still hypothetical.

The background between the two dates back to 2023, when Luv became the first man to film a scene with Adam22’s wife, Lena The Plug. Adam22, whose real name is Adam Grandmaison, has been open about being in an open marriage with Lena, whom he married in 2023. While he initially described feeling “a little jealous,” he publicly supported the decision at the time.

Tensions escalated after Luv made comments in interviews comparing himself to Adam22, remarks that Adam later said crossed a personal line. Though the pair have gone through periods of cordial interaction, the rivalry never completely cooled.

Both men are now in their 40s, with Luv holding a notable size advantage at roughly 6’5” and 240 pounds. Adam22 has countered by emphasizing conditioning and mindset as the fight approaches.
