Adam22 is taking a very public step toward settling one of the internet’s strangest and most talked-about feuds — with boxing gloves on.
The No Jumper and Plug Talk host, whose real name is Adam Grandmaison, is scheduled to face adult film star Jason Luv in a boxing match on January 23 in Miami. Per Bloody Elbow, the bout will headline a Brand Risk Promotions event run by streamer Adin Ross and will stream live on Ross’ Kick channel.
The matchup has been brewing for years, rooted in Adam22’s open marriage to creator Lena “The Plug” Nersesian. Lena, who has worked in adult entertainment since 2023, filmed scenes with Luv on two separate occasions — once in 2023 and again late last year.
Adam22 has been open about the dynamic, previously acknowledging that while the situation made him “a little jealous,” he ultimately supported the decision as part of their shared business model.
Tensions escalated, however, after Luv discussed the first shoot during a 2023 interview. When asked whether he believed he outperformed Adam22, Luv replied, “Well, obviously, yes,” later adding that emotional connection and physical performance were “two different things.”
The comments didn’t sit well with Adam22, who later said Luv was “blacklisted” from working with his wife again — a ban that ultimately didn’t last.
Now, the rivalry is headed to the ring.
After the fight announcement went viral, Adam22 commented on the Instagram fight post, writing, “Nobody will ever be able to call me a cuck again after this!”
He has also said in past interviews that he would only agree to fight someone he believed he could realistically handle, suggesting he views this bout as more than just a spectacle.
Luv, whose real name is Jason Thomas, embraced the matchup just as eagerly, posting “Let the games begin” in response to the announcement. Known as much for his fitness-influencer persona as for his adult film career, Luv enters the fight with a noticeable size advantage. He stands around 6’5”, while Adam22 is listed at roughly 6’2”.
Neither man has formal boxing experience.
