If there was any doubt that Jarrell Miller could laugh at himself, he just erased it.
Days after the heavyweight boxer’s now-viral in-ring hair mishap, Miller caught up with TMZ Sports and revealed the moment has turned into something completely unexpected: business opportunities.
According to Miller, his phone hasn’t stopped buzzing since.
“There's a lot of hair companies from Turkey reached out,” he said. “A couple of man-weaving companies reached out. So like my DMs are crazy, man. I haven't even gone through even a quarter of them yet.”
Miller described the second he realized something was off mid-fight. “I felt a cold breeze in my scalp, and I said I know I ain't got no AC up there,” he joked.
Back in his corner, his coach’s sudden nervous energy tipped him off that something had gone wrong. One look at the Jumbotron confirmed it. “I'm fried, I'm cooked,” he laughed.
Instead of spiraling, he said the whole thing weirdly motivated him. Ripping the piece off completely “put an extra battery in my back,” he explained, calling it a turning point that helped him push through the rest of the fight.
He added that he plans to try growing his hair out naturally again, blaming certain products for drying it out in the first place. Still, the flood of offers has him considering his options.
Miller kept the bigger picture in mind, too, saying setbacks are just part of life. He talked about leaning on faith and staying focused for his kids, noting he wants to show them resilience more than perfection.
All of this comes after the bizarre moment that kicked everything off. During his heavyweight matchup with Kingsley Ibeh at Madison Square Garden, a clean shot knocked Miller’s hairpiece loose in the middle of Round 2.
The wig detached under the lights, slid off, and instantly became social media fuel.
Miller didn’t flinch. Between rounds, he calmly removed what was left and tossed it aside, smiling through the chaos.
He still walked away with a split-decision win, improving his record and turning what could’ve been a cringe moment into a viral highlight.
Now, instead of hiding from it, Miller’s leaning in — and apparently, so is half the global hair industry.
