Dak Prescott is back in headlines over his personal life after being spotted at a Texas event with one of Sarah Jane Ramos’ former bridesmaids just months after the couple’s engagement collapsed.
According to The New York Post, Prescott attended a Pro Bull Riders event in Fort Worth alongside Caitlin Rance, a longtime friend who had reportedly been expected to be part of Ramos’ wedding party before the ceremony was called off earlier this year. Photos and video from the outing quickly spread online after reports claimed the two were seen holding hands while spending time with a larger group that included members of the Dallas Cowboys organization.
The appearance immediately reignited attention around Prescott’s split from Ramos, which became one of the NFL off-season’s biggest off-field stories. Both Prescott and Rance denied they were dating after speculation exploded online. According to reports, when contacted about the situation, Rance handed the phone directly to Prescott.
Rance attended Mississippi State University with Prescott and was expected to be involved in the now-canceled wedding festivities before the relationship unraveled. Prescott and Ramos had been preparing to marry in Lake Como, Italy, on April 10 before abruptly canceling the ceremony just weeks beforehand.
The breakup became increasingly public in the months that followed. Initial statements from Ramos’ camp described the split as mutual, saying there had been “no big argument or blow up.”
But later reports painted a more complicated picture, with allegations of infidelity and claims that Ramos confronted Prescott over alleged communication with other women. Reports also surfaced that Ramos had issued what was described as a monogamy ultimatum earlier in the year.
Attorneys for both Prescott and Ramos emphasized co-parenting and described the arrangement as focused on the children’s well-being.
Prescott, meanwhile, is entering his 11th NFL season while continuing work on a major home project in Texas.
