Bad Bunny is setting the tone for his Super Bowl Halftime Show well before he ever steps on stage.
On Friday, January 16, the Puerto Rican superstar unveiled the official Apple Music trailer for his upcoming Super Bowl LX Halftime performance, and the visual immediately made one thing clear: this moment is about culture, community, and inclusion.
Per People, the short film, released ahead of the February 8 game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, was shot in Puerto Rico and centers on Bad Bunny dancing beneath a flamboyant tree alongside people of different races, genders, and ages.
Soundtracked by his song “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” (“Unforgettable Dance”), the trailer leans into movement and shared joy rather than spectacle alone.
According to Apple Music, the trailer is meant to serve as an open invitation to the world. In a statement accompanying the release, the streaming platform described the film as welcoming “the entire world — no matter who you are or where you are from — to join Bad Bunny” for the Halftime Show, while highlighting the unity and cultural richness he brings to a global stage.
Bad Bunny’s Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, presented by the NFL and Roc Nation, will air live on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock. The performance lands in the middle of his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour, which runs through July.
When the Halftime Show was first announced, Bad Bunny emphasized that the opportunity carried weight far beyond his own career. “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” he said at the time. “It’s for my people, my culture, and our history.”
That message closely mirrors comments Kehlani made last month during a Billboard livestream, in which she shared her hopes for the performance. While discussing Bad Bunny’s upcoming Super Bowl appearance, Kehlani said she was “manifesting” a set that doesn’t bend to English-speaking expectations.
“I don’t think he should say a single word in English at all,” she said, adding that understanding every lyric isn’t necessary to feel the music.
Kehlani also praised Bad Bunny’s commitment to Puerto Rico, specifically his decision to prioritize performances there to help stimulate the local economy.
