Bad Bunny had a brief misstep during his Mexico City show this week, but the moment quickly turned into a reminder of how locked in his fans are.

According to People, the Puerto Rican superstar was performing his 2022 track “Efecto” during a December 10 concert in Mexico’s capital when he slipped while moving across the stage.

Fan-shot videos circulating online show Bad Bunny losing his footing mid-performance and falling to the floor as the music continued.

Rather than panic or immediately jump back up, the 31-year-old artist stayed seated for a few seconds, letting the moment breathe. That pause is where the crowd stepped in.

Thousands of fans picked up the lyrics to "Efecto" in unison, carrying the song while he regrouped. Within moments, Bad Bunny stood up, rejoined the track, and acknowledged the audience for holding things down.

Fortunately, he appeared uninjured and finished the performance without further issue. The slip didn’t derail the show, and the concert continued as planned.

The Mexico City stop is part of Bad Bunny’s ongoing Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour, which notably does not include U.S. dates.

Earlier this year, the artist addressed that decision on social media, writing on X, “I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States.” The comment referred to his upcoming Super Bowl appearance rather than a traditional tour run.

Bad Bunny is currently set to headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on February 8, 2026. The announcement was made in September during an NFL broadcast, with the artist later posting an Instagram video teasing the performance. “Super Bowl LX. Bay Area. February 2026. #AppleMusicHalftime,” he wrote in the caption.

Since then, his selection has sparked debate in some quarters because of his commitment to performing primarily in Spanish. Bad Bunny addressed that conversation during his October hosting stint on Saturday Night Live, joking, “I’m very happy, and I think everyone is happy about it — even Fox News.”
