Andrew Tate is stepping into a boxing ring for the first time, and the moment arrives just days before Christmas.

According to Forbes, the former four-time world champion kickboxer is set to face Misfits Boxing heavyweight titleholder Chase DeMoor on Saturday, December 20, in Dubai, headlining Misfits Boxing: The Fight Before Christmas.

The bout takes place at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, with the main card beginning at 1 p.m. ET and ring walks for the main event expected around 5 p.m. ET. The event will stream live on Rumble.

Tate, 39, built his combat sports résumé in kickboxing, where he compiled a reported 76–9 record with more than 30 knockouts. While his striking credentials are well established, this matchup marks his official boxing debut.

Promoters have framed the fight as a test of whether Tate’s elite kickboxing pedigree can translate to boxing under the rules, particularly against an opponent who has spent years competing in influencer-focused bouts.

Across the ring will be DeMoor, 29, a former reality TV personality best known for Too Hot to Handle, who has since carved out a niche in Misfits Boxing. DeMoor enters as the reigning Misfits heavyweight champion and brings considerably more boxing-specific experience. He has logged roughly 14 bouts across professional and influencer settings, with a record of 9-4-1, and has remained active through 2024 and 2025, with multiple title defenses.

Stylistically, the matchup centers on pedigree versus familiarity. Tate’s background suggests sharper fundamentals and power. At the same time, DeMoor’s advantage lies in recent ring time and comfort within the Misfits format, which often rewards pace and durability as much as technique.

Outside the ropes, Tate remains one of the most polarizing figures in sports and social media. The British-American influencer is currently facing multiple criminal and civil legal proceedings in Romania, the United Kingdom, and the United States, tied to allegations including human trafficking and sexual assault. Tate and his brother Tristan have denied all accusations, and several cases remain ongoing or pending trial.

Despite the surrounding controversy, interest in the fight remains high. The card also features bouts including Tony Ferguson vs. Warren Spencer and Neeraj Goyat vs. Anthony Taylor, rounding out a weekend that blends crossover boxing with mainstream attention.
